Five subsidiaries of Conch Cement – Quanjiao Conch, Xuancheng Conch, Yiyang Conch, Linxiang Conch, and Hunan Conch – have been recognized as 2024 National Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprises by the China Association of Work Safety (CAWS).
The annual CAWS certification program, which designates model enterprises across industries including power, coal, cement, transportation, and construction, awarded 147 companies this year for exemplary safety management systems, workplace performance, and cultural development.
Conch Cement maintains a "safety-first" operational philosophy through systematic risk prevention, enhanced training programs, and substantial investments in hazard identification technologies. The company has institutionalized safety culture initiatives like the Ankang Cup safety competitions, real-time hazard reporting platforms, and family safety awareness events to reinforce its corporate ethos that "workplace safety fuels enterprise growth and employee wellbeing."
